Besides the fact that more than Fire resists Fire, Pokemon like Rotom Heat and moves like Sunny Day are both fire type.

this has always been nonsense and we both know it. Everything sun-themed is either fire or grass. I'll give you Psychic because of the space theming, but that simply means Solgaleo should have been Fire/Psychic.

Solgaleo could still be Steel/Psychic, but instead Full Metal Body should be “Fire Absorb” where it becomes immune to Fire moves and heals 25% of its HP.
That would make Solgaleo more accurate to what its based on and make it 20x more viable.
