>>58940647Currently looking over compatibility of my programs on Windows 10 to see if everything can work or has an equivalent analogue on Linux. My computer chugs and I have no idea why, I tested all my hardware and it all functions normally. So it's either Firefox (not unsurprising, but it didn't use to run this bad before), Windows, or my small SSD I installed the OS on being full and/or old.
So I got a new, larger SSD to install the OS on, but if the culprit is Windows (and I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft vibecoded some dogshit update to 10 that's causing this) then my only option is Linux. Looking at Mint Cinnamon, then I'll install some UI pack to make it look like Windows 7 or something.
At present the only program I have installed that doesn't have compatibility, work with Wine, or an equivalent is
Paint.NET, which sucks because I use that one all the time. I GUESS I can roll with Photoshop.
