If you start on the gameboy advanced hardware and want to move anything from those games into home
The requirements to do so are:
>Gameboy advance
>DS original or DS lite
>3DS
>Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen
>Pokemon diamond, pearl, platinum, heart gold, or soul silver
>pokemon black/2 or white/2
>pokemon transporter
>Pokemon bank
>Pokemon home
That's a lotta shit to go through on original hardware and that's not including the multiple time adjustments that need to be made for gen 4 due to the palpark being ass or that you'll be moving about 6-10 pokemon at a time with awful minigames
Now if you were using an emulator it would be much faster but you would still at minimum need a 3DS
FRLG on the eShop will be a simple open home and transfer and for a lot of people that's enough of a reason to pay $20 instead of having to own and deal with all of THAT nonsense
