Because it isn't a problem? If you have a cross-gen evolution in HGSS, you are not prevented from getting it. FRLG force this so hard that using Eevee, Chansey, and Golbat is extremely unfun since they will constantly attempt to evolve. Also, before your ass even attempts to say "UZZZZZZE THA EVERSTONE HUUUUUUURRRRRRR ME WEETAD" You can't get one in FRLG.

They were the worst games in regards to pokemon distribution and collecting. Saying they're worst because of that alone is incredibly dumb though. It's why most people tended to like them when playing on roms. Cause you could just hack and get any mon you want and then just enjoy the games, which are really good outside that. Re-releasing them plain and straight is a weird move because of what you say. Isolated, these games are not very fulfilling when it comes to making pokemon teams. Pic related.

It's this, no eggs or post 150 mon can be traded to FR/LG until you do the Sevii Islands quest..

No, it's because they're so easy to develop on that they play hacks of FRLG that are 100000000000000x better than the original just by not fucking being FRLG. You take FRLG and patch into Radical Red or Unbound, you don't just play the original, that's like fucking eating a raw chicken instead of cooking and seasoning it.
