>>58958204>What did It do right-Best story in a mainline game by far. The way this game handled characters with their own arcs, breathing in a lot of personality and interactions with each other was a treat. Not to mention it made other characters like Elite Four members and Gym Leaders interact with each other a lot more, really making the world feel much more connected. Legendary develops along with you, learning and growing to then overcome their own obstacles later and aren't just a stoic, static encounter in the later parts of the game. Seriously whoever was in charge of story direction and characters needs to keep doing it. Ending was also Kino as hell.
-Multiplayer was so much better in this game, I still can't believe this game of all games managed to actually have seamless connectivity with other players, where they can actually explore the world with you and even advance the story while you fuck off doing whatever. It did have it's share of bugs, but I was surprised they even did this when other games struggle having players connected in the same way.
>What did it do wrong?-Pokemon has to drop the realism meme, it just makes things look horrible. But overall the inexcusably bad performance that Pokemon should be ashamed of putting out.
>Favorite mon introduced?Ceruledge or Rabsca
>What characters did you like most if any?-Kieren, by far. Just fantastic character arc and development (for a Pokemon game) and actual challenge when fighting with some insane moments (masterball part).
-Main cast though is overall lovable with maybe Penny being a little below the rest even though Team Star was a good story.
>Did you enjoy the DLC?Absolutely, blows third versions out of the water.
>Anything you hope about IX carry’s over to 10?Story quality and writing. Hell I hope they do even better please. Also the multiplayer but also improve upon it.
