Pokemon is the only game in the gaming industry where fans genuinely beg the developers to make the games worse.
Imagine if there was a set of pencils being sold 100 a box, and for some reason fans of that pencil company suddenly demanded the 100 pencil set to be reduced to 70.
Same price, same quality, even the box is the same.
This would be insane to see, but that’s essentially what happened with Pokemon.
