>>58980232The gecko really feels like a dead ringer for poison. If it gets that, then the grass type will probably get electric or ground to still defeat it, similar to Torterra with Empoleon. The fire one being “playful” and very innocent/cute is making me suspect fairy too, but it might just be wishful thinking since it’s an unused type combo. We do have a track record of 3 different fairy dogs at this point though (and dogs tend to get play rough), which might increase its chances, all things considered.
I hope they all have appeal, at least. Alola’s starters weren’t necessarily everyone’s cup of tea, but they at least all had legitimate love put into their designs. I don’t want a Paldea repeat where one is such an overblown Greninja-tier cool shillmon attempt and the other two are nonsensical goofy clusterfucks again.
