Not them but born 98 and was playing gens 1-3 pretty much simultaneously because my older sister had them. I remember going to after school programs and playing gen 1 and 2 while the other kids were playing gen 3 games because we were too poor for a gba until we got a hand me down from one of my sisters friends

I'm also a 00 zoomer whose first game was Silver because I had an older sibling who liked Pokemon. Played R/S when I was a toddler and young kid too, to the extent I consider those games my childhood pokemon games moreso than gen 4 or 5.

You don't need to know it because it doesn't matter for the in-game story. You will win. The game isn't hard bro. If all of your pokemon don't have 4 attacking moves you didn't beat the game. If you use any stat boosting moves, you didn't beat the game.

Bite deals damage because is evil and not the physical damage that the bite itself causes, I remember this being so bullshit, I almost got my Tyranitar shadow ball instead of crunch
