>>59000163Not like that video in particular, but yea I recall there were quite a few places where I got stuck for a while playing Diamond as a kid. Specifically, I took absolutely forever to talk to the galactic grunt outside of the great marsh after getting 4 badges, that shit is NOT telegraphed as a progression gate clearly at all. I had a similar issue finding out where to go after the Veilstone galactic base, though I admit that one is on me not paying enough attention to the dialogue.
I actually quite liked these experiences, though, getting stuck at certain points is what encourages engaging with the side content
