I know the faggot that you are is only mentioning starters hoping we wouldn't address the elephants in the room (the Hitmons, Machop line, Mr. Mime, etc) but I'm sorry to say, it still doesn't work. Please, tell me, why are starters and ONLY starters supposed to be like real animals "living in packs in the wild"? Why them? Why should they have that distinction when plenty of non-starter mons are pretty much like real-life animals anyway?

I can easily see pokemon like the hitmons and the machop line in the wild, doing rudimentary body building and working out, sitting under waterfalls etc.

For a lot of people starters seem to be core to the “Pokemon fantasy” and they adamantly refuse not to use them, they can just not use Mr Mime or Hitmonchan but being unable to pick a particular starter because it will be humanoid and violate their preference for the setting triggers their tism
