I unironically think about this sometimes when I'm soft resetting GBA games and I'm always happy with the choice. I wonder if I'll make a dent in the Pokedex, and I even think about what I want to happen to them after I die. I mentioned to my sister that they are the only valuables I care about if anything happens. I hope I have time before I die to find them good homes.

I had a good bit of fun with method hunting, the only rly easy exception was Ultra Wormholes which gave them out way too fast, but basically from DP - SwSh method hunting felt balanced.
Now with overworld shinies and absurd was to boost odds I shun method hunting and only do 1/8192. There’s nothing fun for me about getting the shiny you want in 30 minutes in SV, or filling a box with shinies after an hour of afk in ZA
