This is actually pretty cute. Too bad it then turns bright lime green as Ursaring and Ursaluna I don't find too impressive either. Shiny Ursaluna could've been much better if only they made it a truly vivid red but as it is it just looks like reddish brown.

Back in gen 2 he actually looked kinda nice because it was kind of a cooler grassy green color and the skull and bone were more light silver while the regular Cubone's skull and bone were more golden brown making them look really distinct from one another but then they completely ruined it and made it look like diarrhea from gen 3 onwards.

the answer to that question for any pokemon that isn't blue is blue. For blue pokemon it's red.

Tangela actually makes sense to be green since it's a Grass type and all. However Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan don't.
I do like how Shiny Hitmonchan gets blue gloves though. If it were to ever be redesigned it should definitely keep the blue gloves. Change literally everything else but keep the blue gloves.

It doesn't even look bad, but I was still let down I got a 1-stage fish that barely registers as shiny if you don't pay attention, and it totally missed the opportunity to swap the colors of the red and blue versions around like the Nidoran line does.

The only reason shiny Nidoqueen looks bad is because before Nidoqueen the shinies of the Nidos were swapping colors with their counterparts with the Nidoking line becoming blue and Nidoran female and Nidorina becoming purple but then they suddenly go and make Nidoqueen green and pink like a watermelon. In a vacuum it doesn't look terrible but it ruined a good thing the rest of the line had goin'.
