I'm pretty sure they're just handing over some of the artwork to random young employees for some reason, which is why it looks so inconsistent. Mega Dragonite's artwork looks completely fine, like it could fit in with the Gen 6 Megas. But then you look at Mega Meganium's art and it looks worse than some fan artists' renditions.

This needs to be updated with Garchomp Z.
That being said, Flygon should be counting it's lucky stars. Gamefreak could have very easily turned it's mega into an abomination this time around. Narrow miss.

The only one I dislike over the original is the first mega garchomp, designwise. And in baxcalibur's case it feels more of what it should've been instead of a mega. In my book no one lost, garchomp was redeemed.
