>>104090691Ame probably didn't mean it in the way it was interpreted but you fail to understand the context in which "improve yourself" has been used against men for like a decade now. Especially by out of touch women. It has been used in a way to belittle and handwave away men's genuine issues.
Most men don't have any close friends.
30% of young men are still virgins.
Men's education rates are falling.
Young women now out earn young men.
A large portion of young men have never had a long term relationship.
A large portion of young men aren't able to reach the same milestones that their father's and grandfather's did.
Men are terrified of approaching women with romantic interest.
Family courts completely fuck men.
Men make up the majority of homelessness, the prison population, men are the victims of most crime, men live shorter lives, men kill themselves much more often, men are more likely to die of preventable illness, most workplace accidents are men, etc, etc.
All these issues just get swept under the rug with "Just improve yourself" as if these issues can only be the personal responsibility and fault of men and men are completely immune to external factors beyond their control. This happens whilst the current zeitgeist blames men for all the shortcomings of women and that even if men are not at fault for their current situation, they deserve it so that women can take top spot.
