If she's dealing with management pushing her into a corner where she's spending her real income on MVs while her finances are tight, and all at her own risk while Cover can just wash their hands of her if it's doesn't work out... kind of a shitty deal isn't it? She was very clear that she's not the only talent struggling against the model. Maybe Cover didn't arrive at this reality maliciously but to think they're all spoiled millionaires is laughable. Doesn't Suisei own her own music under her real name? If that was a precondition of signing with Hololive, very smart of her not to let them get full ownership of her work because it gives her so much more leverage against a corpo strong-arming her into their brand or otherwise mismanaging her career. Does she actually own Suisei, the character IP? Most of Holo's talents aren't in this position and that kind of arrangement might not even be possible now, if Holo's management will not tolerate that much independence from talent. Who knows? They don't let much slip past their NDA. Keep in mind that A-Chan left and she was closer to management, she is not someone you can dismiss as erratic. Most of Holo's troubles with graduation have followed her departure. And she hasn't left vtubing. Not at all.
