Yes, she will return. If the ARG is the condition for it, they will start dropping more hints like they did before. If anything, the absence of clues indicates they're not in a hurry. Alt streams showed that people will be at her door no matter what.
Beyond a source of income (I'm assuming she invested enough to retire at that point), she still has projects and ideas before retiring.
Take some rest, find a hobby, I think she'll come back in february or july because both have important dates for her.
