Pomu, despite being one of the two highest performing girls in the branch (the other being Selen), was constantly berated for not doing well enough and told that her numbers were too low, and as such she didn't deserve things like large scale collaborations even if she was specifically requested by the other party. (One of these cases was the final straw that had her leave the company, where her actual idol oshi's group requested to work with her for an EP before they disbanded, which was one of her biggest dreams, and Niji rejected it)
Selen was actively hated by the staff for doing too much and requiring them to actively do work like getting perms or checking her projects. In order to get things done, she often ended up working around their slow asses by contacting and getting perms directly, and was directly responsible for a significant chunk of the perms that the branch used.
In response, the staff would often delay or drag their feet on her projects to "punish" her, and would constantly break her down, call her a burden to the branch, or actively refuse to give her sponsorships, merch, or collab opportunities even if the company specifically requested her (HYTE was a big example of this).
An extra bit is that Selen was directly called a brand risk to her face, and as such the staff had told her that she'd have to "earn" the ability to get unique merch again.
Her last membership post was an update that the staff told her outright that she would not get any unique merch or figures in 2024 because she didn't work hard enough in 2023, and that she'd be working even harder in 2024 to improve her self and her content to maybe earn one in 2025, saying "I want to be someone you guys can be proud of."
After Dokibird and Mint's first live concert, Mint said in the afterparty stream "Holy shit, we're actually marketable! We really are marketable!" and they had a bit of a moment there.
