It's standard practice for most vtubers to nuke their entire identities when moving elsewhere.
More so if joining or switching to another company.
When people leave streaming almost entirely, or are going indie. they rarely give a fuck.
In fact they tend to want to keep their VODs in those cases so fans can go "yeah this is her old account here, look how cool she is" and that automatically gets a person a fanbase post graduation from corpo life.

Memory's status is officially the same as Saya's. She's a "Phase World Citizen," i.e., an affiliate (like Ame with Hololive), meaning she could come back for special appearances. She probably won't (since she's likely joining another corpo), but the door is open.

Clara will be the first hard graduation Phase has had. Yuri was terminated and her channel was nuked; Saya and Memory both soft-graduated to affiliate and their stuff stays up (aside from some now-inaccessible members-only content).

It happens in every fucking company where it has happened.
The only one it hasn't so far is Hololive because none of them have left to join another company yet. Whether that does happen is the question.
The only shit that occasionally gets kept up is singing, and occasionally special streams.
There's also the rarer situation where a company outright folded but IPs weren't transferred, which has been 50:50 as to what happened, sometimes the accounts were left to rot, sometimes the shitty owner comes back and nukes things out of spite (like that cunt in Vreverie nuking an ex-talents account outright)

I don't think any other company can match their wage or can make use of their experience. Their careers have kind of matured their way into a black hole where there's no demand. Mint probably has the right idea starting a dedicated idol company strictly focused on capturing those skills.

Yeah, really the only upgrade from there would be directly in to some VAing role, hitting it big time globally with singing, etc.
Some people in various companies do do this already, and vtubing is the side thing for them, or it's a bit of a mix.
Like Amamiya, she did a song cover for some Sony trailer if I remember right, on her personal account.
I'm sure it was her at least.
