>>109510740You used to be able to tell whether or not you were shadow banned if your messages never showed up on the streamer's onscreen live chatbox, if they had one. With busy chats with thousands of viewers it's obviously harder to check to see if your messages are getting through. The other tell used to be that you couldn't self-delete your chats after typing in livechat; the dot menu that shows up when you run your cursor over every name including your own, to report others or remove your own post, doesn't appear on your name so you can't click shit. However this can happen if you post and remove your own posts too much, so don't get into that habit. You're not shadowbannwd in that case.
This was a few years ago. For all I know yt jeetranny coders have changed it again.
t. once shadowbanned probably for accidentally copy-pasting a html link to another stream instead of the applause emoji I also had on he clipboard and probably got spam reported to death. Either that or emote spamm
