>>109961480What is interesting is that several people before Kirsche got rejected from Off Kai 2024 but Kirsche could still attend and maybe do signings or meet and greets just couldn't be apart of this group panel but this was narrated later as Off Kai was targeting her specifically (mirroring the Jelly coverage). If I remember Kirsche even got a private meeting with the person who ran/organized Off Kai to air things out--doubt the other people who got rejected received this--and even Kirsche agreed the person was polite and even provided reasons for the rejection. Basically said it just won't work out THIS year.
Kirsche might have come up on top if she let the matter go and just attend or come back stronger next year but Kirsche and those Phase/drama fans went scorched earth with Kirsche leaking the DMs with the organizer, her fans accusing every volunteer and worker of being some far leaning activist--even though some of the volunteers were Kirsche fans. Kirsche went on some tourist podcast claiming crimes had been committed by the people at Off Kai with some promise offer from the podcast host that him and Kirsche would open their own convention together. Kirsche also confirmed there that Off Kai just stopped communicating with her by that point. Kirsche and Rev were openly trying to get the only vtuber convention cancelled then back pelted saying people already spend money to get to the con so it was ok after all, assuming because of push back from Phase/Pippa. It was fucking crazy.
