ah, I just tried that and unfortunately the glue on it is pretty fucking weak, like sticky note strength, I don't think it's gonna stay on a card. At least not the one I got. I just put it back on the sticker backing for now.

I really wish Kiara would get over her "OLD GRAFUX NOT GOOD" mentality. I know it won't change anything and she'll continue to not play old-stylized games, but I just want to let it out a little how frustrating it is that she has such an adverse reaction to it.

eh, it used to bother me in the past but it really doesn't affect me now. As long as she's playing games she enjoys then all is good. If I want to see a specific game that she won't play I'll just play it myself. That being said, I used to not be able to stand stubborn people that clearly don't understand what kind of things they could enjoy, so I get the frustration

Really doesn't affect me unless it's a game I could really see her playing into her 'character' with. Most manager sims aren't as relaxed as this one so it would be easy enough for her to play without being frustrating from a mechanics standpoint. I think I take more issue with the fact that it's the graphics that filter her when they're just fine for the style and that she's 'missing out' on so much good content purely because she's a graphicsfag. If she doesn't want to play spooky games or fps's, that's fine because it's a dislike of the genre. If she won't play a game that would provide entertaining content and play into her strengths purely because of graphics, I just don't understand. Hell, the sprite models can still be cute as hell and she even said so while talking about it.

It's really hard for me to understand her mindset, but I'm trying my best here because I don't want to just dismiss her preferences out of hand. I guess I can understand not wanting to play an NES game for the same reason I understand why people might not like N64 titles; they've aged pretty bad visually, and they're a little janky at times. But I don't really understand an unwillingness to play a game with 16-bit graphics or better (provided the game is well made).
I also feel like if she's going to expect everyone to have watched a 20 year old Lord of the Rings trilogy, then she should not be surprised when people expect her to get invested in the classics of her own favorite genre.

Yah know, the worst thing is, imo, is that she isn't even a good graphicsfrog. if she only plays games with "good" graphics, we could have some decent games like witcher 3, gtaV, hitman, fucking skyrim with graphics mods, etc. But instead, she is a graphicsfrog for weebshit and cute girls. Its an incredibility limiting genre and shes missing out on some really good streaming content.

Yeah, I get ya. But Its just one of my many flaws we just have to accept about our chicken wife.

But shes making improvements. She's willing to try out horror + fps. alice, ori and little nightmares are games she would of never played. So you never know. I'm still hopeful for variety in the future.
