I honestly think that "friend" lecture was one of the silliest things she's ever done. What made it even worse was that it came from Fauna who was relatively yab-less.
I think what a lot of newer fans don't seem to understand was that no one denies what she said was right or wrong. It was the fact that she basically shattered the illusion. You're not supposed to say the silent part out loud. Doesn't matter what her intent was, it won't change that fact. It wasn't done as cold as Vox or Elira, that's the best I can say.
I don't hate Fauna though, I just don't want to watch her anymore because I don't really think she gets it. I have no intent in getting hugs or warm reassuring words or ASMRs or telling people "we belong to her" and then turning around and giving people 'the talk'. That's having your cake and eating it too.
