Otherwise, you are correct. Former soviet block living abroad, accent from not using the language on daily basis anymore.
I did try to explain the honey thing in the debut thread - she probably thinks in russian and composes the initial sentence in russian then makes it english. And in russian this way of speaking is somewhat common and more friendly than flirty. Plus russian has a ton of synonyms, so it's a wide array of words, not just "honey" which is the limitation of english.
Words she might be thinking of might be:
Дopoгyшa - darling(explains why she doesn't use it)
Coлнышкo - sunlight(no analogy in english)
Зoлoтцe - gold(maybe treasure in english?)
etc, etc, etc.
Kinda russian auntiespeak, mostly endemic for old-ish, traditional cities, like Odessa or Novgorod.
And it doesn't transit to english well at all. Hopefully she tones it down.
