>>76333708>No I don't.Well, from what you wrote, that's what you demonstrated. From the earnings report, we know that Cover now makes the majority of their money from merch, concerts, and sponsorship deals. Not streaming.
So your notion in a), that Gura would have to stream more if she wanted to optimize her numbers (i.e. the "lazy greedy whore" option where she attempts to maximize her personal monetary gain per unit of effort), was categorically wrong. These sponsorships take very little time from her while streaming regularly requires hours and hours of work. If she wanted to "optimize her numbers", she would do what she's doing right now, unless you literally meant maximize her total profit without regards to efficiency, but I don't think anyone has ever accused her of caring about money to the point where she works the mines in her spare time for a few more dollars.
>What do you suppose I thought that "mascot welfare" income would have been coming from?I have no idea. I'm not you and I can't read your mind. You failed to define what you meant by "mascot welfare", and I wasn't going to assume only for you to try and deflect the conversation away to what was convenient for you later.
If you meant never streaming and only relying upon sponsorships and and collabs and merch, then I already addressed that and explained why if she wanted to do that, then she'd still have to come back for the minimum amount of streams she thought was required to maintain her fanbase.
This post is getting too long, I'll answer a) through d) in a separate post if you still want me to.
