>>51819010This board in general and this thread in particular is the beating heart of the VTuber community.
The discord leak was a strictly /here/ thing, and yet it found it's way into multiple other sites, and a somewhat significant portion of the general fanbase is aware of the story behind it.
Froot's whole past was a strictly /here/ only thing, but it's been posted enough that it's leaked out into the mainstream slowly over time, and anyone tangentially looking /here/ will be aware of all of that because it gets posted so often.
Several smaller VTubers only have a fandom that's strictly /here/.
People /here/ are far more aware of all the bullshit behind every chuuba, and will keep bringing it up, and if there's enough proof to it, more and more people will believe it. Best example being the reaction of the JP following anons here about her "graduation".
This board is probably the only community that knows that Azki quit her dayjob.
You can even see that some small corpos browse /vt/ during the occasional discussion, and we've had multiple talents from both NijiEN, HoloEN and HomoEN caught lurking or posting here.
Schizos think that "most influential" means that spamming the thread or the board enough to make it look like the board "agrees" with something would be enough for it to magically manifest.
e.g. the nijikek who keeps spamming about PekoMiko and Suisei's supposed graduation (2 more weeks) or all the Gura antis doomposting about her supposed Graduation.
Sometimes this causes containment breaking antis to leak out into the stream if things are bad enough from the chuuba end (Gura's big break and Ayame's long-ass break are good examples) but once the chuuba streams normally, everything gets cleared up for a while.
Although the schizos make certain threads and sometimes the whole board unusable a lot of the time, it doesn't really change the fact that it's just one person spamming his narrative and trying to look like many people agreeing with his retarded headcanon.
Ultimately, "most influential" means that the thread and the board reflect the general "vibe" of the greater VTubing community.
