This is actually really good advice, having a plain-as-day, physical key for each note is far easier than memorizing fingering positions for valves and how to shape your lips and how much air to blow to learn what note is what line.
Try piano, if you have small fingers you'll hate it, maybe try melodic percussion instead. I'd say "buy a kalimba, they're cheap" but you'd have to spend the extra money finding a piano-layout one to not have the muscle memory problems because traditional ones aren't laid out in scale order so glockenspiel kits would be better.
>>84813442My grandmother actually taught me to play organ when I was very young on an electric organ her mother (my great-grandmother) bought in the 70s (she was a silent movie pipe organist when those were a thing, 1920s-40s), but my mom sold that organ a bit after those grandparents passed. Still kinda angry about it.
