I don't go out of my way to stub my toe, but when I do I try to enjoy it (and I succeed).
It seems like Buddhism is about giving up on good things to avoid the bad things with them, but it's actually about accepting the bad things as being good because they are bad. Pain is painful and therefore good. I don't think I explained this well.
In conclusion I want Lia to stab me with a knife, but softly, and if it was hard I would still enjoy it (but take actions to make sure next time is only softly).
