Good day /vtwbg/!
>>35572569That’s what I thought! I figured since the Salamansho Rex doesn’t seem to be a common occurrence, there must be something unusual about it either from something biological or from the stuff it eats (or both) and everyone involved in the story would want to learn about that, so it makes sense for them to study things related to it, including dissecting the mutated animals it left in its wake. Learning that can also help us learn more about how to deal with Salamansho Rex when we actually fight it lest we get blindsided by some special powers it might have
>>35576904It sounds lovely! I actually like the human part of kaiju flicks more than the kaiju itself oddly enough, I think it’s how the humans deal with something that’s pretty much a force of nature that makes it fascinating for me. That might also be why I’m interested in monhun
even if I suck at it in the first place. I know the hunters are supposed to be superhuman but it’s still very nice to see how they manage to fight powerful enough to cart them with a combo by careful planning and preliminary research (nowadays we have wiki but that’s beyond the point) so I kinda want to see that in our story as well
I also like your idea about Tosklo and it could definitely work! Do you think they would be more into field research (I don’t know a lot about how natural science like this is done back in the days) where the Palkyrie regularly go on field trips to hunt strange wildlife and study how they tick? The Underworld sounds like a good place for Tosklo’s study too since it’s both filled with chuubanititrophic lifeform and is cold just like home
I kinda wanna write more about how Palkyries fight but I don’t know how to put them in rentry format. Maybe I should write a short scene or something to show it
