i must vent, i have this silly little "senior" developer man who is constantly derailing our engineering calls and projects i work on, anytime somebody starts discussing a problem that needs to get solved or a feature that needs to get built he feels the need to interrupt and bring the entire meeting to a standstill by showcasing some half baked "solution" he's been working on in the side that isn't remotely related to what we're even discussing, or worse he comes to the table with a half-baked solution without discussing it with anybody else and it forces the project down the wrong trajectory because he already already got the ball rolling, before he even knows what the thing is we're talking about he's pitching all these solutions, i've wasted hours of my life every week shooting this guys constant side tangents down because he cant stfu and just listen and always has to try to solve things before he even knows what the fuck we're talking about
