I'll probably use that as a basis for some sort of philosophy and/or the flag. I was considering something like either making inhaling dust from the crysttals working as some sort of 'emotion boosting' drug or just take a page from warhammer49k's warp travel.
The magical girl thing is something I'll admit I didn't think of despite how obvious it is! I've mostly considered general society and I haven't been sure if to go with either taking some isles and go full easter island, go with grassy flat lands (ToT) or a more mountainous/hilly area for a lot more stone masonry stuff. I think the isles or the mountains would also serve to fit the need of magical rocks for transport the most.
