If your goal is subs growth and ad revenue, sure but Holos are completely sidestepping that for merch and sponsorship revenue.
Kiara was lamenting the other day the fact her growth stagnated (likely taking about her subs) and how she’s willing to target even the “normie” (her words) audience knowing about the potential drawback that would bring.
That’s dumb as fuck. She has 1.43M subs right now, that’s even more than Subaru.
The one thing she definitely doesn’t need is more people clicking the subscribe button never to watch her again.
If Kiara was smart she would start targeting the existing 50k or so people ALREADY watching HoloEN in a regular basis.

She turned that boat around with one simple trick (scientists hate her!): creating content that engages the rest of the box. Three in particular

She could EASILY grow her brand and attract some of the already existing audience simply by making an effort to embed herself into the box a little more.
Targeting the general audience would be her undoing and going on Eurovision would put the same “freak” holofote over Hololive as it put on that bearded dude that dressed like a woman (Conchita?) a couple of years ago.
