I see a lot of Aqua in this thread. She seems legitimately autistic (and riddled with the crippling anxiety that comes with it), and unfortunately people who do not know how to act "correctly" in social situations come off as cold or standoffish, their intentions are misread and it ends with them being disliked. I would imagine having autism (if she does) is especially damning in Japanese culture.
