Being a fan is a more distinct thing for her. Pippa can support her company, but supporting her company as an employee is a different thing compared to supporting it as a fan. Different enough where she feels she can't be both as once. She has said something to this effect a couple of times already, with the Pokemon Go stream being the latest iirc.
