Just confess that you're a sinner(have you ever told a lie? Well, liars will not inherit the kingdom of God, nor thiefs or adulterers(even just looking at another with lust) or murderers(even just hating someone else)) unable to save themselves from the just punishment for your transgressions, which is death; come humbly before the Lord asking for forgiveness and repent of your sins, that is, promise to never do them again, and put your faith in Jesus's sacrifice for you that is the undeserving gift of grace from God
Faith is belief + action; you are saved by faith alone, but if you lack good works then you don't have faith(because action is part of the equation). It's like if shondo said she loved us, but then went on to not do actions to prove her love. She'd be a liar to claim that she loves us then.
