it's just apparently that's a drop in the bucket vs merchandise. the talents bring in 3x the revenue as only a few years ago and yet apparently getting chloe on a box of granola or something pulls in tons more money than the streaming possibly can. that stupid dodger's game collab probably made them more money than a bunch of the girls' streams do combined etc.
of course this is all losing the forest for the trees in reality that none of that merch would be worth a fucking single yen if there wasn't innate recognition of the girls it features, and that recognition is dependent on the girls being likable and happy where they are and not sad and graduating.
