I think its a woman thing along with having a business angle, jealousy of the younger and more energetic girls, their go getter optimism pushing in on their older complacency and simp real estate. They are afraid of not being the companies center of attention any longer. An unfounded fear most would argue, but they are human like anyone else, woman at that, slaves to emotion. Lionesses seeing their rich game being slowly whittled by cocky upstarts.
