For example, some KR clippers have moved to making clips of local chuubas and are doing quite well for themselves. The curse of KR audiences not watching KR vtubers too, is slowly being broken. And even among the more hardcore streaming community I've seen wider acceptance of vtubers.
This is especially important for Hololive and any other company trying to enter the market, because if these local audiences continue to grow, it'll start chipping away at their own share of the KR audience. And currently there are several factors at play right now that make this shift more plausible
