very long blog post ahead but stick with me watched Aruran for a while and enjoyed him because of the ojisan model mostly. I wasnt huge into vtubers though but I knew of the "unicorn" issue and it made me despise the girls out of spite whenever I saw a fan harassing them. then when EN stars came out I latched onto Vesper. First thing was I hated the Aruruan redesign when it finally came out but I tried to cope with it at this point i think due to sunk cost fallacy. Then came Vesper's menhera episodes. I have empathy for the mentally ill I really do, but one of the main reasons I watch any form of entertainment is so I dont become stressed out and it felt like watching him eventually became like I was in an abusive relationship with someone that gave you both the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. After the double EN grads happened I was salty and gave up on vtubers for a while, specially since Aruruan became a huge leech with the girls and I gave up on him.
One day, I decided to give Fauna a try since she was live and I was genuinely surprised at how calm and healed I felt listening to her stream. Looked into Fuwamoco too and seeing how consistent they were with new streaming ideas and projects made me realize I was settling for less when it came to my entertainment as far as streaming is concerned and I was staying watching people I honestly weren't fully enjoying anymore because it was a habit and not because they offered any quality content that was worth watching. Also seeing the stupid drama that was coming out of the Armis males (the anti lolicon bs, the dino guy, and the grooming allegations coming out from the green sniper one) I completely stopped watching males. If males hired by Cover cant avoid being attention whores/menheras/attracting annoying fujo audiences that fight each other than the indie ones have no chance to impress me either

I don't think Cover would approve everything. They probably reject most things a holomem wants to do. But the trade-off is they get a lot of other opportunities in return. Proper, big opportunities. And it's not just exclusive to the JPs. And NijiEN still has one gen that has 3D.
