as for preparation, get your water to 80°C, add two teaspoons per cup (ymmv depending on how strong you like it and the size of your cups) then moisten first with a small amount of hot water and let it draw water for a minute.
next slowly add the needed volume in a circular motion and let it all run through the filter.
