In fact comparing her to Kotoka is a good comparison because they have the same stream style of focusing entirely on the game and minimal chat interaction, and yet the way their audience reacts is totally different. JP viewers love Toru's autism for video games while EN viewers barely give Kotoka a chance doing nearly identical content.
