>>84911221I mean, if you're starting out as a new corpo and debuting the bare minimum of 3 talents required for a box, what do you do next?
Entertaining content is needed of course, but how do you market yourself in the modern chuuba world where the clip algo is completely in the hands of the big corpos? Do Youtube ads even work?
And how do you make connections without enough of a viewership clout to negotiate on a equal footing? If you want an artist to draw your chuubas, you HAVE to give them something, and if you're starting out you have no fanbase to give them, so is money the only way? It's not really a healthy start, and it's highly unlikely that the artist will ever watch the streams of your girls or take the initiative to draw them himself.
The more I look back on Hololive's growth the more it feels like a "right place, right time" type of story that can never be replicated again.
