It's at least better than Norwegian Wood in that it doesn't feel wooden and dull. Its just that the actual smut is lacking in the kind of erotic energy to its narration that I find hot in smut. If I had to take a guess, it's because this fic just zooms through events, and while there are smut fics that can work with that the prose just isn't crude enough to really work with the speed you go through events.
Which makes me curious. Is this another commissioned work? Because if it is, you really need to talk more with your commissioner about what you can write with a given wordcount cause Christ this fic was a solid meh.
