I have found it. I reached illumination. I am no longer a mortal human. I have, like my master Akuma, become the oni. He showed me the way. I have now the key to defeat Sophie, to reach Legend, to slay gods.
I know how to focus for real this time.
I tried repeating their attacks back to them. Didn't really work. I tried Romulla advice:

This new technique however worked to perfection.
I was blind, I was deaf. My enemy spoke, and I did not listen. My eyes are open. My ears can hear. I am no longer a child.
The key is whiff punish. If you focus on whiff punish and whiff punish only, your mind keeps track of the patterns on its own. The thing is, whiff punish is garbage in street fighter 6. Every single streamer told me not to even try:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeEAsQwiIyA. They were right. No one plays neutral in this game. Everyone just jumps. Everyone tries the neutral skip. It is, overall, a bad strategy. And so, I never focused on whiff punishing. Got all the way to master
several times just doing full offense, never caring what the other guy did. This game is really biased towards attack, and defense is an after thought.
But by focusing on whiff punish yesterday, and only whiff punish, the patterns began to appear. Suddenly I was reading people like a book. Suddenly the recipes the other player was doing became obvious.
It began with me trying to whiff punish in reaction with akuma super 1. It got me to realize I could never EVEN TRY IT because the opponent just kept jumping on me. Fireball. jump. Fireball. Jump. Raw DI. jump. Fireball
"You are playing the game wrong" I screamed. He did not listen.
"Let me practice my shit!" he never did.
"Well if its like that I know you are not playing netural, so im just going to start to anti air you UNTIL YOU PLAY THE FUCKING GAME:

and I understood
I was him. I been him all along.
You jump a thousand times and you get a big punish once. You keep doing it. Eventually the opponent misses his anti air and you win.
That was their plan, but they didnt know it was their plan. That was my plan, and i didnt even knew it was my plan.
Suddenly after focusing on whiffs I could predict the jumps. I could predict the fireball. I could predict everything. Because I was focusing of whiff punishing a whiff that never came.
Now that I can see, everything is possible. But it is also a humbling experience: I could had done it from day one, but my ego was in the way. I shall start from the beginning, not skipping any bits. Even if something is not meta, who knows what it can teach me? I discovered the thing I was missing in the basics, who knows what I can find in the rest? I might have lost an entire year of my life just to reach this obvious lesson, but in return, I gained access to the root of truth.
I have died, and i have been reborn anew as an oni, and now, I will take a look again at the world with my demon eyes, and see the truth. I will start from scratch.
