I come in some days, work for an hour, then take a break until I can sit again and they don't seem to mind. As for settlement I got around 150k due to it being his fault. Texting and driving, not paying attention to a yield sign, trying to make up a story about picking up his daughter from school (which changed to 'going to church' when the officer showed up) it was definitely his fault. The doctor just doesn't want to do surgery since I'm so young so steroid injections and possibly the acupuncture combined with some opioids that help with my back, but not my feet that sort of just pulsate all the time like I've been standing for way too long or something. It's hard to explain.
