They were always lagging far, far behind hololive EN. It was basically a small or mid level corpo with a fun group dynamic with the whole "anyone can drop in at any time" thing going on. They were growing very steadily and would've likely reached really solid numbers on their own, but I guess management didn't like how they WEREN'T printing money fast enough so instead of proper support and advertising they dumped LuxNoc all over the fujo fanbase.
When all they had to do was actually OK the hololive collabs that both sides wanted at the time, and through a little leeching, the girls would've had more than enough exposure to grow properly on their own, expanding both companies into a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.
