Do you feel you need more difference in value to convey more depth? More tones/softer transitions? Or something else?
I'd recommend working on some not pixelated resolution, and then making studies instead of chuuba fanart. I've learned far more while doing studies than while doing fanart. Also I know this is a meme shit because I'm the blendlet guy, but you should give 3D stuff a chance. Not for doing 3d stuff but rather learning. This guy uses many 3D stuff to teach 2D drawings and explains it's advantages for learning. Real good stuff! Blender is lightweight and you don't need it to run spectacularly, so give it a chance! It'll help you understand many basics, but it won't give you chuuba attention/fame/your own style yet. You'll get that later, do not rush.
