They actively worked with Nijisanji and plenty of other corpos/indies and burned literally all of them to some degree by dropping them like a dumpster baby. They acted like any smart company should and actively tried to branch out as much as possible and make connections, but their problem was cutting hundreds of them off the second they found a third market proving it was just leeching and not even remotely genuine attempts at connecting with others, which for any oldfag has marred pretty much everyone at best because that's what the entire scene was back in the day and friendships built then are still lasting to this very day.
Nowadays the only people they work with are those who can bring them a notable growth in new groups of fans or people who run TTRPGs like Holmes, and even then that's by a technicality as it's never streamed on their channels
and thank god for that. We even have the people in question themselves say they explicitly lost connections with other vtubers after the whole "idol" push. It fucking hurts, bros.
