Hello ruffians!
Thanks to your encouragement I started with my Nihongo learning journey!
DAY 50: Today I've done my anki and grammar reps. For anki I've done 10 new cards today. For grammar I've read lesson 31: Giving and Receiving. Just one more lesson left for me to read in "Japaese the Manga Way"! After I finish it, I'll start watching cure dolly videos, but I won't keep the same pace for it nor will I spend as much time on it as I did for this, my first, grammar guide. It's because I'm going to start my immersion reps for real and that will be what I'll try to spend majority of my time on.
I'm reading advice from different guides about what is the best thing to start your immersion with. Watching j dramas/anime, playing visual novels, reading manga; watching streams, clip channels with JP subtitles... all of them have their pros and cons. I know that in the big picture I need to "JUST DO IT" and finally start immersing with something, it will be really hard whatever I choose. I will, for sure, I promised myself I will begin at the start of October at the latest, but I still like to do some research before committing to something.
That's why I'm asking if you have any advice about what to choose as a first thing to immerse myself with? What did you start with? Do you think it's good thing to start with or would you change anything if you could start over again?
First Fuwawa solo stream! I was sure it would be some vn or game with great zatsu potential, I was surprised when I saw it will be scary game. It will be interesting seeing how she deals with it, she's usually hiding behind Mococo's back while she's playing, this will be much different experience.
