So about 2 months ago, I was watching an IRyS Karoke stream. It was a Saturday morning and I assumed I was the only one in my apartment. I turn up the volume to 100% and I am not really wearing my headphones(because why would you want to wear headphones when you are all alone) and all of a sudden, my girlfriend comes into my room and sees what I am doing. I turn off the stream instantaneously and because of the way I reacted, she starts questioning me what I was doing. After a few minutes, I give up and tell her that I am into VTubers(before that I had to explain her what a VTuber is) and IRyS is my Oshi. Initially, she looks me at me in a disgusted way and then proceeds to ask if i have spent any money on this girl. The petrified me softly mumbles that I am a part of IRySuperCool nephamily and IRyS is not the only VTuber I am membered to. She then barges out of my apartment as if I embarrassed her.
The next day she calls me up and tells me that the reason she acted like that was because something urgent came up and she wasn't really angry at me.
Two weeks later, we are having dinner at my apartment and she tells me that she has got something special for me and I will get that special thing after I clean the utensils. I was a little surprised to hear that as usually, I am the one who is bringing the gifts.
So while I was cleaning the utensils, I suddenly hear the catch phrase "HIRyS, its IRyS". Turns out she was cosplaying IRyS( not a 1-1, but it was super close). She even got the blue and purple lenses with the wig. She then grabs my collar and whispers, "So you want to take this to the bedroom, Shouganai ne". I was fossilized as I didn't know how to react.
After the love making session, I started feeling guilty because it appeared as if I love IRyS more than her which is not true btw(And I can't really see IRyS in a sexual way because she is too precious)but unfortunately, I lacked the courage to tell this to her as it seemed that she worked really hard for all of this. From the next day onwards, she started talking about Hololive and for a moment, it seemed that maybe telling her about VTubers wasn't the worst thing in the world as now I can talk about them any time I want with someone who I love. She will eventually find her favourites(Towa(her Oshi), Suisei, Ina and IRyS(for obvious reasons)) and everything seemed to be normal, that was until today.
I get a package from my girlfriend and I see a Santa costume there. I call her up and ask why did she send me a Santa costume and she replies me with, " Santa didn't give me any presents in my childhood because apparently, I was a bad girl. I will now show Santa what a bad girl actually is. ".
How should I tell her that I love her for who she is and her dressing up as my Oshi isn't required at all. On top of that, how should I tell her that I don't see IRyS as a sex goddess like she thinks. If anything her dressing up as IRyS makes me nervous.
