So it's the future. Altare seems to have some lore about forgetting someone important, which I'm headcanoning as Alban (picrel).
I also have thoughts of Victor actually being Altare, and that Altare was "plugged in" to Elysium to save his life while Alban stayed in the real world, but it's just something I've been playing with and haven't really fleshed out.
